主に北米原産の広葉樹のホワイトオーク（White Oak）は、虎斑模様の板目だけでなく、直線的なラインが美しい木目の柾目も人気です。
※板目＝木材を年輪に対して平行に製材したもので、波状・渦巻き状の模様が特徴。
合板にはラワン合板を採用。軽くて扱いやすいのが特徴で、ゆがみにくく割れにくいので主に家具や建具や壁材に使用します。

＜突板（化粧板）とは＞
突板材（化粧板）は、基材の表面に「天然の木を薄くスライスしたもの＝突板」を貼り付けた木材です。そのため、突板材は天然木の美しい外観を持ちつつも、無垢材のような反りや割れがなく、コストパフォーマンスに優れているなど、良い面を多数兼ね備えています。
＜ホワイトオーク材とは＞
ホワイトオーク（White Oak）材は、ブナ科の広葉樹で、主に北米が原産です。その美しい木目と高い耐久性が人気で、家具・建具・フローリングなど、さまざまな用途で使用されています。
◎特徴
・木目：ホワイトオークは、力強い曲線を描く節が特徴の「板目（いため）」と、直線的なラインが美しい「柾目（まさめ）」で表情が異なります。特に、虎の斑紋に似た希少な「虎斑（とらふ）」と呼ばれる模様が現れることがあります。
・耐久性と耐水性：ホワイトオークは非常に硬く、耐久性と耐水性に優れています。そのため、家具やフローリングなど、耐久性が求められる製品に適しています。
