主に北米のカエデのメープル材は、明るい乳白色から淡いベージュ色を呈し、清潔感があります。木肌は滑らかで、絹のような光沢があります。
※柾目＝木材を年輪に対して垂直に製材したもので、均一でまっすぐな木目が特徴。
合板にはラワン合板を採用。軽くて扱いやすいのが特徴で、ゆがみにくく割れにくいので主に家具や建具や壁材に使用します。

＜突板（化粧板）とは＞
突板材（化粧板）は、基材の表面に「天然の木を薄くスライスしたもの＝突板」を貼り付けた木材です。そのため、突板材は天然木の美しい外観を持ちつつも、無垢材のような反りや割れがなく、コストパフォーマンスに優れているなど、良い面を多数兼ね備えています。
＜メープル材とは＞
メープル材は、主に北米産のカエデ科の木材で、大きくは「ハードメープル」と「ソフトメープル」に分類されます。
色合いは、明るい乳白色から淡いベージュ色を呈し、清潔感があることから「木の真珠」とも称され、木肌は滑らかで、絹のような光沢があります。稀に「バーズアイ（鳥眼杢）」と呼ばれる鳥の目のような独特の杢目が現れることがあり、希少価値が高いとされています。
メープル材は、時間の経過とともに色合いが変化し、淡い色から飴色や褐色に深みを増していきます。この変化は、木材に含まれるカテキンが酸化することや、紫外線の影響によるものです。この経年変化を楽しむことができるのも、メープル材の魅力の一つです。
＜ラワン合板材とは＞
ラワン材は、東南アジア地域の交錯木理（木理が周期的に反対方向になる）の広葉樹で、肌目が粗い特徴があります。木質は一般的に軽くて柔らかいので、加工が容易です。
