【カタログの『再塗装』とは】

【日頃のメンテナンス方法】

ー木製手洗い器についてー
木製手洗い器は、「木地挽き」という日本古来の伝統の技法により形成した器です。職人の手で１つ１つ作り上げていることから、木製手洗い器から職人の技と心が伝わってきます。
塗装は、セルロースナノファイバー塗料を下地に使うことによって経年劣化を防ぎ、その上に対アルカリ性、硬さを強化する特殊塗料を塗ることによってさらに強度を増しております。この二層の塗装によって、耐久性、耐水性に優れています。

「木地挽き」技法とは？
平安時代より伝承される寄木造りの「木地挽き」技法は、材料を独自の接着技術で繋ぎ合わせ、轆轤（ロクロ）で挽く技法です。隙間のない堅牢な作りが特徴で、実用性の高い器に仕上がります。
